 We have used Melissa’s decorating expertise many times when renovating rooms in previous homes. She brought many great ideas but also asked questions of our likes and dislikes to ensure she wasn’t sacrificing our own unique tastes. She worked within our budget and even provided us with floor plans and shopping lists to make our DIY projects that much simpler. Recently she offered great ideas on inexpensive fixes to update our home for selling, particularly the kitchen. Her suggestions, including painting the outdated oak cabinets and replacing the countertop made the kitchen so much brighter and modern. We struggled with choosing paint colors in our new home because of the open concept design of the main floor so we again consulted with Melissa. Her selections were bang on and we are so pleased with the results. With her keen eye for style and her ability to capture your tastes, Melissa has shown me many times that you don’t need an unlimited budget to have a beautiful home that has a style still your own. I have recommended her to many friends and family members and will continue to call on her whenever I require her amazing home styling advice. 

 Being a first time home owner with an impending kitchen renovation was as overwhelming as we could imagine.
Melissa came in and helped us turn a headache into a dream. She focused so much on making sure our vision was created and asked us many times to describe exactly what we wanted. We had a few ideas, but Melissa introduced us to concepts we would never have thought of. We have a small kitchen that had a lot of unused space and were working with a limited budget. Melissa completely changed the design and layout and provided all the storage and prep space we needed. She gave us a detailed design that we were able to take to a few different stores and eventually found the perfect match for our cabinets. With Melissa's design, we were able to save on installation fees and ended up with a fun DIY project that led us to our perfect kitchen. It's not only visually appealing, but also extremely functioning and actually makes me want to cook. When the time comes for future renovations, Melissa will be the first person we'll call.
